Talking to Wobo out loud
Press and hold the orb, speak, and let go. Wobo answers in voice and draws at the same time.
Voice is the fastest way to ask about something you are looking at, because you can point with your finger while you talk. Circle the bit you mean and say "this one" and Wobo knows what you mean.
What you can say
Anything you would say to a teacher beside you. Some that work especially well:
- "Explain this."
- "Show me where I went wrong."
- "Say it again in terms of cricket."
- "Quiz me on this chapter."
- "Board": Wobo brings out the plane and starts drawing on it.
- "Slow down", "stop", "go back".
Interrupting is allowed. Tap, type or speak over Wobo and the pen stops mid-stroke, the same way a person would.
Voice settings
On You, under Settings, you can change the accent Wobo speaks with, turn narration off so Wobo writes instead of speaks, and turn sound effects off separately. If you turn narration off, Wobo still draws everything; the words appear beside the ink.
Languages
Wobo teaches in English first and understands you when you mix in your own language mid-sentence. If Wobo does not follow, say it again in either language and Wobo will keep up.
