Ask Wobo about anything on the screen

Circle it, hold on it, or select it, then ask. Wobo already knows what it is.

This works on every screen in the app: a lesson, a simulation, a graph, a paused video, a settings page, your own progress chart.

Three ways to point

  • Circle it. Drag a loop around it with your finger, mouse or stylus. The loop fades and Wobo has it.
  • Hold on it. Press and hold for a moment on a phone, or hover and hold on a laptop.
  • Select it. Select text the normal way and ask about the selection.

Then ask, by voice or by typing. "Why is this one negative." "What is that arrow for." "Explain this bit."

Why the answers are exact

Wobo does not look at a picture of your screen and guess. Every diagram, slider and simulation in Wobo reports what it is currently showing, so when you circle a corner of a graph Wobo has the actual values, the actual equation, and what you last changed.

Things worth asking

  • "Explain this."
  • "Show me where I went wrong."
  • "Say this in terms of football."
  • "Why is this wrong?" after a wrong answer.
  • "Read it aloud."
  • "Teach it back to me": you explain, Wobo listens and finds the hole.

Video and pictures

Pause one of our videos and circle any part of the frame; Wobo annotates it exactly. For something we did not make, Wobo reads the region you circled and says plainly that it is reading it rather than knowing it.
