Boss battles
A boss battle is the interactive workbook that closes a topic. Finish it and the topic counts as done.
It is one continuous piece of work rather than a list of questions: a real problem, drawn on the board, that you solve on the same surface, with the parts building on each other.
How it goes
- Wobo sets it up on the board and steps back.
- You work. Write, drag, shade, build, draw your working beside it.
- Wobo marks the working, not only the answer, and ink lands on the step that went wrong.
- Help is available throughout and does not disqualify anything.
- At the end you get Wobo's closing word on how it went and your XP.
If you do not finish
Leave and come back. Your place, your working and your ink are all saved. Nothing is lost and nothing resets.
The synthesis boss
Once you have a few topics mastered, Wobo builds a bigger one that crosses them, assembled from what you personally know, so it connects things nobody told you were connected. It arrives when you have earned it, not on a schedule.
What it does to your progress
Beating a boss on your own lights the topic as mastered on your progress page. Beating it with a lot of help lights it as mastered-with-support, which is honest and which is what Wobo uses to decide what to revisit.
