The plane
The plane is a frosted board that slides out over whatever you are doing, so Wobo can work something out without taking you off the page.
Say "board", or ask something that needs real working, and the plane arrives from the orb. It is see-through, so the thing you were looking at stays visible underneath.
What you can do with it
- Move it, resize it, pin it. Drag it where it is not in the way. Pin it and it stays while you scroll.
- Shrink it. It becomes a small thumbnail near the orb with all its ink intact. Tap to bring it back exactly as it was.
- Draw on it. Your strokes and Wobo's share the same surface. Scribble your working and Wobo reads it.
- Wipe it. Say "wipe" or use the eraser. Say "fresh board" and you get a second one; you can have several in a session.
On a phone
The plane comes up as a sheet from the bottom. Drag it up for more room, down to shrink it, and it keeps its ink either way.
What lives on it
Anything that takes more than a few strokes: a derivation written out, a graph built from the axes up, a free-body diagram, a molecule drawn in the order a chemist would draw it. Move a slider Wobo has drawn and every number that depends on it is recomputed and rewritten.
Keeping it
The plane's ink stays until you wipe it. Save it to your notes and it is yours permanently.
