How we label a syllabus

Every syllabus in Wobo says where it came from and how far we have checked it, in plain words, on the page.

We would rather tell you a thing is uncertain than let you find out in an exam.

The four labels

  • Official, verified. From the board's own published document, checked by us, and confirmed. It names the board and the academic year: "Official CBSE 2026-27, verified".
  • Found on the board's site, still checking. The structure came from a real official document and passed our automatic checks, but nobody has confirmed it by hand yet. Usable, and worth a glance against your own book.
  • Shared by another learner, not yet checked. Someone offered their school's syllabus. Treat it as a starting point.
  • Drafted from your syllabus, check it. Built from what you gave Wobo.

Seeing the source

Every label opens the source: the document, and the page or section each chapter came from. If a chapter has no source, it is not there.

How something becomes verified

The checks have to pass, and then either two different learners use it without correcting its structure, or we review it ourselves.

If a label is wrong

Write to support@heywobo.com and name the syllabus and the label. There is no flag control in Wobo yet, so the mailbox is the route, and it is read by a person.
