Editing your syllabus

You can add, remove, rename and reorder anything in your syllabus, and your changes survive every update.

Schools do not follow the printed syllabus exactly. Yours can say what your teacher actually does.

What you can change

  • Add a chapter or a topic your school teaches that the board does not list.
  • Mark something as "not in my school". It stays visible but greyed, out of your plan and out of your progress.
  • Rename anything to the name your teacher uses.
  • Reorder chapters into the order you are being taught in.
  • Attach your textbook so examples match your book.

How it is stored

Your edits sit on top of the official version rather than changing it. That matters for two reasons: everyone else still sees the official one, and when the board publishes a new version your edits are reapplied to it automatically.

When something no longer fits

If the board renames or removes a chapter you had edited, Wobo tells you exactly which of your changes no longer has a home and asks what you want done with it. One line per change.

Starting again

There is a reset that removes all your edits and returns you to the official version. It asks once.
