How a lesson gets made
Nothing is made in advance. When you open a topic, Wobo builds that lesson for you, checks it, and draws it.
Why it works that way
A lesson written once for everybody is written for nobody. Built at the moment you open it, a lesson can use your board's wording, your class's depth, the examples you like, and the things you already know as scaffolding.
What Wobo does before drawing
- Works out the shape of the explanation for this topic and this learner.
- Computes every number with code. Equations are solved, units are checked, chemical equations are balanced.
- Has the whole thing checked independently before you see it. Anything that fails is redrawn once, and if it fails again Wobo refuses rather than serving it.
So a piece that cannot be checked is not drawn. Today that refusal is silent: the piece is simply missing, and Wobo does not yet say a word about it. Telling you is the next thing we owe you here.
Speed
The first time anyone opens a topic it takes a few seconds to build. After that it is much faster for everyone, because the teaching for the same idea is reused and re-fitted to your board and your class.
Different every time
Ask again tomorrow with a different question and you get a different explanation, not the same page. The topic is the same; the teaching is for the moment you asked.
