Chemistry, ICSE class 9
Matter, the language of chemistry, atomic structure, bonding and the study of acids, bases and salts, listed here as units and nothing more, because that is all the paper gives.
ICSE class 9 sets 8 chapters of chemistry. We hold the units from the board's own document, and no topic lists under them.
Chapters
- The Language of Chemistry
- Chemical changes and reactions
- Water
- Atomic Structure and Chemical bonding
- The Periodic Table
- Study of the First Element - Hydrogen
- Study of Gas Laws
- Atmospheric pollution
Is the chemistry here the same as any other board's?
The science is the same and the syllabus is not, which matters more than it sounds. The order, the emphasis and the way a question is asked all differ, and a child preparing from the wrong list wastes weeks. The units on this page are the Council's own, read off the paper named below.
