Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, the ICSE syllabus for 2026-27
ICSE is set by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, and its papers are written as units rather than as a numbered run of chapters with headings underneath. We publish the units as the Council wrote them, and nothing under them, because the Council puts nothing under them.
We hold the ICSE syllabus for 2026-27: two classes, 12 subject lists and 92 chapters. Found on the board's site, still checking.
Classes
Why is there less on these pages than on the CBSE ones?
Because there is less in the document, and the difference is the Council's rather than ours. Filling a unit with plausible headings would be inventing a syllabus, which is the one thing these pages will not do. So a shorter page, and a line saying why it is short. These papers are also still being checked, and every page here says so on its own row.
