Physics, ISC class 11
Measurement, kinematics, dynamics, gravitation, properties of matter, heat and oscillations, with the practical work beside them, are how this board names its senior first-year units.
ISC class 11 sets 10 chapters of physics. We hold the units from the board's own document, and no topic lists under them.
Chapters
- Physical World and Measurement
- Kinematics
- Laws of Motion
- Work, Power and Energy
- Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body
- Gravitation
- Properties of Bulk Matter
- Heat and Thermodynamics
- Behaviour of Perfect Gases and Kinetic Theory of Gases
- Oscillations and Waves
Does the practical work matter as much as the theory?
It carries marks of its own and it also changes how the theory is understood, which is the part that gets forgotten. A reading you have actually taken behaves differently in your head from one you have read about. Wobo can walk through what an experiment is doing and why, and it will not pretend to have done it for you.
