Indian School Certificate, the ISC syllabus for 2026-27
ISC is the Council's senior certificate, sat after the school certificate, and the science and mathematics papers we publish for it are read straight off the Council's own documents rather than off anybody's notes about them.
We hold the ISC syllabus for 2026-27: two classes, 8 subject lists and 60 chapters. Found on the board's site, still checking.
Classes
Is ISC just ICSE again, one year later?
No. They are separate papers published for separate certificates, which is why they sit at separate addresses here instead of being folded together. What the two share is a shape: a unit, with no named breakdown beneath it. That is why an ISC page carries the unit, the document behind it and nothing that was not in the document.
