Physics, ICSE class 9
Measurement, motion, laws of motion, pressure, heat, light, sound, electricity and magnetism, each one a unit the Council names and leaves the school to unpack.
ICSE class 9 sets 8 chapters of physics. We hold the units from the board's own document, and no topic lists under them.
Chapters
- Measurements and Experimentation
- Motion in One Dimension
- Laws of Motion
- Fluids
- Heat and Energy
- Light
- Sound
- Electricity and Magnetism
Why does my child understand the theory and still lose marks?
Usually it is the numerical work and the units rather than the physics. A right method with a dropped unit is a wrong answer to a marker. Wobo carries the units through every line of the working on the board, out loud, so the place they get lost is visible rather than mysterious.
