Why has proof suddenly become the whole point?
Because everything after this is built on it, and because a result you can derive is a result you cannot forget in an examination hall. Proof is a habit rather than a talent. Wobo builds one on the board a line at a time and says out loud why each line is allowed to follow the one above it.
