Mathematics, CBSE class 7
Integers arrive with their signs, fractions start behaving like numbers rather than pieces of cake, and the first proper algebra appears. It is the year the subject becomes abstract.
CBSE class 7 sets two chapters of maths, 15 topics between them. They are Ganita Prakash, Grade 7, Part 1 and Ganita Prakash, Grade 7, Part 2.

Why do the negative signs cause so much trouble?
Because a minus sign is doing two jobs at once, and nobody says which one it is doing in any given line. It is a direction and it is an instruction. Wobo separates the two on a number line you can push a marker along, then works the same sum out in symbols beside it so the two views sit together.
